By introducing Company fs unique fully automated system (CIM system), we have improved productivity, and gained high reliability ofquality, safety and hygiene from our customers. The plant in Virginia of ARIAKE U.S.A., Inc., our subsidiary, received recognition from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), whose certification process is the world' s toughest.

Moreover, we applied the hygienic management standard of ARIAKE U.S.A. to our Second Kyushu Plant. In 2001, the plant received ISO 9001 certification, an international quality management standard, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certification.

Resource Conservation and Recycling
Resource Conservation and Recycling

In the Second Kyushu Plant, we use waste heat and waste oil in fuel for boilers, and realize both lower fuel consumption and fuel costsaving. We also reuse cooling water and wastewater from ourplant.

In 2003, we started to make new approaches to utilize extract residue. We succeeded in composting residue after making bouillon by inoculating bacteria which elicit effective immunity.
The compost is used to grow onions, garlic and other organic vegetables at our testing farm, and the organic vegetables are used at our plants.
